STANDARD CERTIFICATIONS
DIVEMASTER
The
NAUI Divemaster rating is the highest NAUI leadership-level
certification with the exception of Instructor.
MASTER SCUBA DIVER
The most coveted and respected certification card in recreational
diving.
This course is a continuing
education certification course for divers who wish to push their
diving abilities
to their limit while expanding their capabilities and
experience.
This course is an excellent progression toward NAUI Leadership
roles.
RESCUE DIVER
The rescue Diver learns how to manage risks and effectively handle
in-water problems and
diving emergencies, how to assist and transport divers, and how to
perform surface rescues
and rescues from depth involving both boat and shore based skin and
scuba divers.
Divers must have CPR & First Aid certification.
ADVANCED SCUBA DIVER
The first level of continuing dive education. Learn which diving
specialties interest you, and
what type of diving you enjoy most while gaining more confidence and
capability.
BASIC SCUBA DIVER
  
NAUI SPECIALTY CERTIFICATIONS
HIGH ALTITUDE DIVER
The NAUI High
Altitude Scuba Diver Specialty provides the knowledge and skills
necessary
to dive safely at altitudes between 1,000 an 10,000 feet.
DIVER PROPULSION VEHICLE PILOT
During this program, the diver will learn the techniques needed for
safe diver propulsion vehicle operation.
Which includes, diver propulsion vehicle dive planning organization,
procedures, techniques,
problems and hazards, equipment and procedure considerations.
WRECK DIVER
The Wreck Diver course teaches the skills and knowledge you need to
safely dive inside a sunken vessel,
aircraft or similar structure.You’ll learn about safety, hazards and
special risks of overhead environments;
gas management, entanglement, limited visibility, deep diving,
equipment, sources of information,
search methods, underwater navigation, legal aspects, artifacts,
treasure, salvage, etc.
 
TECHNICAL
DIVING INTERNATIONAL
TDI: CERTIFICATIONS
NITROX DIVER
This is the certification course for recreational divers wishing to
utilize enriched air nitrox (EAN)
as a breathing gas. The objective of this course is to train divers
in the benefits,
hazards and proper procedures for using nitrox mixes from 22% to 40%
oxygen content.
ADVANCED TECHNICAL NITROX
This course examines the use of EAN 21 through 100% (oxygen) for
optimal mixes to a depth of
130fsw/40msw. The object of this course is to train divers in the
benefits, hazards and proper
procedures for utilizing EAN 21 through 100% (oxygen) for dives not
requiring staged decompression.
DRAEGER
REBREATHER
This is the certification course for divers wishing to utilize a
nitrox semiclosed circuit rebreather,
similar to the type US Special Forces use. The benefits, hazards and
proper safety
procedures are comprehensively taught.
